Terms & Conditions
Terms for using ScholarVault research intelligence, workspace and related services.
1. Scope and service provider
These terms cover the ScholarVault web app and public websites at scholarvault.in and thescholarvault.com. Product-specific purchase terms and signed institutional agreements also apply. Contact support@scholarvault.in for service or contractual questions.
ScholarVault develops technology and services for research, academia and innovation, and also organizes events. SCVS is one service within this ecosystem.
2. What SCVS provides
SCVS provides research-informed conference screening and evidence assessment. It uses accessible conference information, maintained research records and technical or documentary signals relevant to the requested assessment. Available sources differ between assessments.
Automated scores summarize assessed evidence under a particular methodology; they are not probabilities of fraud, accreditation, legal findings or guarantees of quality. A score alone does not grant human-reviewed status. Any human review must identify its actual scope and date.
3. Research records, networks and exclusions
Internal screening records can inform discovery filtering and further investigation. An exclusion from search results is a product-selection decision, not a determination that an entity acted unlawfully. Aggregation, a new domain, a shared template or a network association does not by itself establish misconduct.
Research records may contain third-party allegations, historical classifications or restricted material. These must not be represented as independently established facts merely because they appear in a database. Findings should distinguish the source statement, corroboration, inference and uncertainty.
4. Responsible use and report sharing
Supply information you are entitled to submit. Do not upload stolen records, confidential employer material without authorization, unnecessary personal identifiers or material intended to harass another person.
You may use your report for personal research and appropriate institutional review, subject to access restrictions. Retain its date, limitations, source context and correction status. Do not alter findings, fabricate badges, expose complainants or present a report as a court, regulator or university decision. Third-party material retains its own rights.
5. Accounts and access
Protect your credentials and comply with the access limits of your plan. Automated abuse, access-control bypass, unauthorized extraction and unlawful use are prohibited. Where feasible, access restrictions should identify a reason and a contact route; urgent restrictions may be needed to protect users or systems.
6. Plans, credits and refunds
Features, allowances, currency, taxes, renewal terms and charges must be shown in the applicable offer and checkout before purchase. A usage display is not itself a payment authorization. Gold access is not a promise of unlimited provider-backed processing.
No new free-download quota or charge is established by this draft. Previously purchased entitlements and applicable consumer rights remain unaffected. See Pricing & Refunds for the existing first-purchase refund offer and request process. Signed institutional terms apply where relevant.
7. Accuracy, corrections and reliance
Reports reflect the sources accessible within the stated scope and time. Sources can be incomplete, wrong, inaccessible or subsequently changed. Check material requirements with the responsible organizer, publisher, institution or registry before committing funds or submitting work.
Anyone materially affected may request a factual correction without buying a subscription. Include the report reference, disputed passage and supporting material. A disagreement does not automatically prove either the finding or the complaint; relevant evidence and the organizer response should be considered.
8. Rights and responsibility
ScholarVault retains rights in its original software, presentation and methodology. Referenced documents and data are not claimed as ScholarVault property merely because they are assessed.
Services are provided subject to the limitations described here and to applicable law. No provision excludes liability, remedies or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. A disclaimer does not excuse inaccurate statements, unlawful processing or failures to meet binding commitments.
9. Governing law and updates
Indian law applies, subject to mandatory protections and the jurisdiction of competent courts or authorities. Contact support@scholarvault.in to seek resolution; this does not prevent lawful complaints or remedies.
Material changes should be dated and communicated as applicable. A later policy should not be used to erase earlier purchase promises or silently rewrite an issued assessment.
