Research & Commercial Independence
Commercial relationships must not determine research conclusions.
1. Our role in the ecosystem
ScholarVault builds research technology and also organizes conferences and events. This creates potential conflicts that require disclosure and management; we do not claim every assessed event is unrelated to ScholarVault.
2. Separation of commercial and assessment decisions
Subscriptions pay for service access and disclosed capabilities, not a favorable score, suppression of supported findings or removal of a valid correction request. Sponsorship, referral arrangements and organizer services must not be presented as independent evidence of quality.
3. Related events and review
Reports concerning ScholarVault-owned, managed, sponsored or commercially related events should disclose that relationship. Before describing such work as independently reviewed, an appropriate reviewer outside the relevant commercial decision must actually have reviewed the stated scope.
Where independent review has not occurred, say so. Apply the same evidentiary standards to favorable and adverse observations.
4. Research conduct
Research should be documented, proportionate and directed to specific claims. Professional experience can inform the questions asked, but does not replace source support. Do not invent credentials, participant testimony or public-source provenance.
Correct material errors and consider evidence that challenges an earlier view. Use support@scholarvault.in to raise an undisclosed relationship or research-integrity concern.
