ScholarVaultACADEMIC INTELLIGENCE

OUR JOURNEY · CHENNAI, INDIA

Building infrastructure.
One useful step at a time.

ScholarVault began with the problems visible behind academic activity: scattered resources, difficult trust decisions, limited researcher visibility and disconnected networks. The response was to build a company around the whole research journey.

BEFORE THE PLATFORM

Listen to the people
doing the work.

Customer support and conference operations gave Shyam a close view of research communities. An academic opportunity can carry a fee, a deadline, months of work and institutional responsibility. Clear information matters before a decision is made.

Discovery, verification, conferences and research identity belong to a connected story.

ScholarVault’s purpose grew from those practical needs. The company is being built from Chennai, with an Indian foundation and a global outlook. Technology is one part of the work; people, events and collaboration make the ecosystem meaningful.

THE FIRST CHAPTERS

From a starting point
to a working direction.

Milestones recorded in the founder’s portfolio. These describe the early build, rather than a promise about every future release.

  1. 01

    26 February 2026 · ScholarVault founded

ScholarVault’s journey began with a focus on trusted research infrastructure, scholarly visibility and conference transparency.

  2. 02

    March–April 2026 · Build the platform

Core architecture, interface design and feature development were followed by the initial progressive web app. Academic trust and practical research workflows shaped the product.

  3. 03

    May–June 2026 · Build the operating foundation

Business formalisation, banking, startup registrations and the announcement of ICAHCR 2026 formed part of the early company journey.

  4. 04

September 2026 · From product to platform

The build had grown across discovery, verification, conference operations and research identity. The September build poster records that engineering chapter.

  5. 05

The next chapter · Connect the ecosystem

Deepen the existing workflows, listen to institutional teams and develop useful connections across research, innovation and industry.

SEPTEMBER BUILD SNAPSHOT

Seven months of work.
A larger possibility.

The founder’s September 2026 engineering snapshot. These figures describe that stage of the build.

The effort behind the interface.

The poster records the September engineering snapshot. Building the platform has meant connecting product design, evidence review, academic records and conference workflows—not simply adding pages to a website.

The next measure is usefulness: whether researchers can make clearer decisions, find their material and carry their contribution forward.

WHAT THE BUILD HAS TAUGHT US

A stronger foundation
for what comes next.

The work is ongoing. These principles connect the company’s purpose with its next decisions.

01

Start with a real responsibility

A feature should help someone do meaningful work: investigate a venue, organise a project, prepare evidence or coordinate participation.

02

Make evidence inspectable

Sources, context and record boundaries matter. Trust grows through information people can examine, rather than a badge or a headline alone.

03

Connect without losing clarity

Private files, public references, submissions and credentials have different roles. A connected platform must make those differences easier to understand.
